Jennifer Oakley
PROGRAM PARTNER

Jennifer Oakley joined the Imago Dei Fund in 2014 and works to advance the fund’s strategic priorities locally and internationally. She works closely with current and potential grantee partners, overseeing and managing the due diligence process and exploring opportunities for new collaborations and networking among non-profit organizations. She has a deep desire to serve as a catalyst to bring people and organizations together from diverse backgrounds and encourage collaboration among the broader philanthropic community.

Before joining IDF, Jennifer practiced law at firms in Washington, D.C., Boston and Hong Kong, representing and advocating for clients in civil matters. Combatting discrimination on the basis of race, gender, and disability and advocating for the basic rights of refugees and immigrants was a significant part of her work.

Jennifer has a strong interest in promoting educational equity and serves on the Steering Committee of the Hestia Fund and on the Board of Advisors at Park Street School and Boston Trinity Academy. She is also an active member of the Professionals in Christian Philanthropy network. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Political Science and Classical Piano from the University of New Hampshire, and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.
